Valere Undertaker is a full service funeral organization that has been serving you since 1960.
Valere Undertaker take birth in a small southern village of Mauritius known as, New-Grove in the late 1960. The founder of our organization is Louis Alexandre Valere. Much known as Alex Valere, he worked as sacristan and was in charge of maintaining the shingle roofs of the church. During his daily duty of sacristan, he has been inspired during funerals by the wood work of coffins. He gradually learned how to make coffins with one of his friend in the capital, Port-Louis.
Later, in 1970, he opened his first workshop in Rose-Belle. He worked there up till his retirement with his eldest son Jacques. In the meantime, in 1989, his youngest son Norbert Lewis Valere successfully take up the torch to manage the business by becoming the next director of Valere Undertaker with the help of his nephew Ulrich Jean Luc Valere.
